Here's what Zebra Communications' clients are saying about us:
- I just got back into town and saw your e-mail and the attached and edited manuscript. I read your e-mail, and it scared me, but perhaps that prepared me for the excellent job you have done with the manuscript. I will continue working on it immediately, and if I have any questions, I will write.
Wade Gilley, jwgilley@yahoo.com
- I received the manuscript last week. Wow! I began reviewing it this morning, and I must say that I am impressed with the work that you have done. Thank you.

Thank you for the work you did for me on ONE, which is my first attempt at
serious writing. I'm sure you can relate when I tell you my heart was in
my throat while opening the packet! Your corrections and feedback were
invaluable to me.

Thank you once again for sharing your knowledge and insight with The Main Street Writers. Every piece of information you share gives us an advantage we wouldn't otherwise have. I'm so glad you wrote Write in Style, because as I read it, I kept wondering why no one thought of this before. It's been sitting right in front of our faces forever, and the rest of us never saw it--you're a genius! It's amazing! What a great way to make your work sparkle. I'm eager to see what it can do for my book. I hope you enjoyed yourself as much as we enjoyed having you. Thanks again, and I hope we can do it again next year!

I am very pleased with your work. I have used two other manuscript editing services in the past--one with this story many drafts ago, and one with a previous story. I was not impressed with either of them. The first service basically edited for grammar, but did not do much of a critique. They gave me the impression they did not want to hurt my feelings. This was of no help to me. The second one had quite a few ridiculous suggestions that clearly made my story worse, not better.
I found you to be very thorough, and you provided very useful suggestions. If I pay someone to edit my manuscript, I want someone who will be honest and direct with me, like you were. I want to hear the hard truth. That is the only way I will learn and the only way my manuscript will improve. I also greatly appreciate the "mini lessons" you provided to help me understand the improvements and learn from them. I have already recommended you to others.

Thanks, Bobbie. I appreciate your editing and help with the back cover copy. The book goes to the typographer tomorrow. I'm working on page 138 of the editing changes. I need two more hours to finish. It will have taken fifteen hours to incorporate your suggestions. I have seen the death of very, really, truly, that, of, now, so, when, then, over, etc., most adverbs and many exclamation points, and have added 100 commas, fifty semicolons, and more than 100 hyphens. I have seen past, present, and future aligned in time and space. Thanks again.

I appreciate your taking the time to look my new beginning over. Both now and last fall, your editing has helped my writing tremendously. I'll let you know if I succeed in finding a publisher for Cyborg Mike.

Not only are you my sunshine, since reading "Write In Style," you are the answer to my prayers, and hopefully a new friend. I plan to have my manuscript ready for you by October 1. You have no idea how helpful your book is to me....seems like I've wasted a year, spinning my wheels. I was thrilled to meet you at Wok & Chops last Friday and had to let you know how pleased I am with "Write
In Style." You really are an early Christmas present!

I want to express my sincere appreciation for such fine work. I've shopped around, making contact with a dozen editors. You're heads above the rest. I particularly like your critique format. Each element: plotting, characters, conflict, etc., has a specific comment for improvement.
